Seasonal allergies can certainly make wearing contact lenses uncomfortable but some strategies for minimizing the discomfort include frequently using rewetting drops, using over the counter or prescription drugs to reduce allergy symptoms and discontinuing the use of contact lenses during periods of extreme discomfort.
